Babri Masjid:
This meeting of the NWC expresses its dire concern at the attempts of some sections of VHP to stroke the fires of communal hatred in the name of Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Any sensible person knows that neither VHP nor the demagogues in the DA regime will be able to do anything in the Babri land as the verdict of the Allahabad High Court has been stayed by the Supreme Court. However it is the duty of the Central Govt. to make sure that no outlaws may be permitted to be involved in criminal encroachment in the Babri Masjid property to achieve political gains in the upcoming UP elections. The working committee also calls up on the people of India not to fall into the trap set by the communal elements.

Babri Masjid, Ram Temple beware of elements stroking communal fire.

Juvenile Justice Act:
Amendment in JJ Act undermines basic principles of legislation
The national working committee of Social Democratic Party of India-SDPI expresses its anguish over the recent hurried amendment in Juvenile Justice Act reducing the age of delinquency to 16 years, put on trial under CrPC the government succumbed to the street pressure by rightist forces.
The NWC expressed its strong views that the government has ignored and undermined the rudimentary principles of legislation by rushing things in both houses of Parliament.
