Tippu Sultan’s ideals cannot be dampened by Sanghi maniacs: SDPI
SDPI strongly condemned the decision of CM Yediyurappa to cancel the previous state governments move of celebrating Tipu Jayanthi. SDPI state president Elyas Muhammad Thumbe said CM Yediyurappa’s decision is nothing but hate politics, stupid and immature one.
Tipu Sultan is not only the pride of our state but also the entire nation as he secured the highest rank globally for his valor, courage and progressive administration. It’s a truth of crystal clear in Indian history that there was not a single king other than Tipu Sultan who contributed significantly in the fields like technology, irrigation, agriculture, Kannada literature, social Reformation, equality, etc. Sangh Parivar is spreading series of lies about Tipu Sultan just because such a paramount fame is attributed to a Muslim king. Sangh Parivar is madly on the way of distorting the Muslim chapters of Indian history and spreading communal hatred among Indian folk. The learned people of this country are well aware of this conspiracy. As a part of this hatred, Karnataka government now cancelled the decision of Tipu Jayanthi celebration.
Elyas Thumbe said Tipu Sultan was known as Kannada Kali, Nada Premi, Mysuru Huli. He said SDPI will never tolerate any kind of false propagation or vilification campaign against Tipu Sultan by Karnataka BJP government. SDPI will create a public movement in this regard and fight legally.
Sangh Parivar’s narrow and corrupt mindedness and communal conspiracies will never succeed to emaciate the ideals, wisdom, valor, patriotism, equality and broad mindedness of Tipu Sultan.
Elyas Thumbe said the learned people of the state should unite to establish Tipu Academy and Tipu University by sidelining the state government. He call upon the people to work relentlessly to popularise the ideals, progressiveness, wisdom and secular thoughts of Tipu Sultan.
