Cadres and members of SDPI NW Delhi District took out a huge rally from the Kirari assembly constituency to the NW MCD-Municipal Corporation of Delhi demanding immediate action about the drainage system which has created a dirty atmosphere across the area in many wards of the constituency.
Faruq Azam, the Party activist said, the residence of the area are unable to bear the foul smell resulting from the damaged drains which were poorly constructed. The wastage water in drains doesn’t find a way out causing a huge collection of stagnant repugnant smell.

Javed Akhlaqui demanded that the drains be cleaned first, repaired and establish connections in such a way that the wastage do not see a stagnancy.
Mehfooz Aarif says we have urged our area Corporators and MCD officials a number of times regarding the issues but all our cries were unheard. He said it’s all thanks to continuous negligence of the authorities concerned that the women and children have been suffering from various ailments because of the damaged sanitation and dirty atmosphere.
A number of supporters too participated apart from the office bearers of the district unit. The rally was led by Mehfooz Arif.
