Police in Rampur district arrested four persons under UP’s anti-conversion law for allegedly trying to lure Hindu youth to convert to Christianity by exposing them to Christian prayers at a coaching centre. It is a constitutional right in our country to choose, believe, follow, preach and propagate any religion of one’s choice, and so, putting hurdles in this path is anti-constitutional. If anybody is resorting to allurement to increase the number of believers of their faith, no doubt, it should be dealt with legally, but not all religious conversions.
