Sneering at the judiciary, Gujrat continues to bulldoze the properties of Muslims in the state. The Supreme Court of India has recently expressed strong views on bulldozing the properties of individuals accused of various crimes in different states. In a recent drive after the Supreme Court intervention, the Gujarat government demolished a 500-year-old mosque and an adjacent graveyard near the Somnath temple in Prabhas Patan, Somnath district, an ancient Muraradsha Peer Dargah near Porbandar and more than 200 structures owned by Muslims, including homes, mosques, dargahs, and shops in the Gandhvi fishing harbour alone.
