Malappuram: SDPI leaders demanded enquiry in the disappearance of service books of senior government officials from concerned offices, in a press conference here. It is very serious that this news came out when there are a wide range of caste reservation malpractices are going on in government service appointments and promotions, says SDPI leaders.
The attitude of the government, not filling the backlogs which are vacant since the last 15 years is against the social justice ensured in the constitution. Even the meetings to assure the appointments in reservation category, is not conducting properly. As per the rule it should be convened every year on first of January chaired by chief minister. There are many who got through the appointments in reservation category using forged caste certificate. More details on such incidents will come out only through proper enquiry says SDPI.
