SDPI Condemns Gaza Violations Documented by UN Commission, Urges India to Speak Out
The Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) has expressed deep concern over the latest report of the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, which concludes that Israeli authorities continued to commit genocidal acts in Gaza after the October 2025 ceasefire.
The report also documents war crimes and crimes against humanity in the West Bank, including torture and sexual violence against detainees, and describes the largest displacement of Palestinians there since 1967.
These findings point to a grave violation of human rights and international law. These must be stopped immediately.
SDPI demands that the Government of India should act on its stated commitment to human rights and its standing as an active member of the United Nations and issue an immediate public statement in support of the Palestinian people. India should use its diplomatic influence at the UN to press for an end to the violence and accountability for violations.
