KOZHIKODE: Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) state secretariat decided not proceed with the campaign against ADGP (Intelligence) T P Senkumar as the allegations against him was proved baseless. The Malayalam daily that published the news, saying Senkumar got the job after tampering with his caste certificate, withdrew the news, the release said. The party decided to protest based on the news as the reservation malpractice is rampant in the state. It added that there was no fact in the allegation that the SDPI was targeting Senkumar. “We regret the mental agony caused to Senkumar,” the release said.
Disappearance of service books of 22 senior government officials from concerned offices, is part of reservation malpractice. So SDPI will go forward with the protest against this.
Adv. KM Ashraf, State president presided the meeting. Abdul Hameed, State General Secretary, Thulaseedharan Pallikkal, State Vice President, Moovattupuzha Ashraf Moulavi, Nasaruddin Elamaram, M.K Manoj Kumar, C.P Abdul Latheef, V.T Ikramul Haq, Samkutty Jacob attended the meeting.
