New Delhi: 26 April 2019: SDPI feels a bit of satisfaction on the review of the earlier order of the suspension by way of revocation passed by Election Commission of India of Mr Mohammad Mohsin, the General Observer of Sambalpur Lok Sabha constituency in Odisha.

Mr. Mohammad Mohsin, an IAS officer of Karnataka cadre was suspended in haste for the checking of the helicopter of Mr.Narendra Modi who landed at Sambalpur on 14th April 2019 to address an election rally of BJP. Earlier as reported, the helicopter of Mr Narendra Modi who enjoys SPG protection, was seen to carry a mysterious black trunk at Durga in Karnataka where in violation of rules of SPG, the black trunk was hurriedly unloaded from the helicopter carrying Mr. Modified and loaded into a white vehicle out of the Carcade of SPG. The Congress made a complaint to Election Commission of India
alleging utter misuse of the Government helicopter in carrying the black trunk and also the protection of SPG. Mr Mohsin, without following the due procedure was on unceremoniously suspended for his fearless performance of his duty with deep sincerity and commitment.
SDPI stands singularly as only political party to register a strong offence to authoritarian approach to the hasty suspension of an Officer on election duty and filed a complaint against the injustice to the upright of government doing his election duty. SDPI welcome the order of the election commission of India. SDPI welcomes the revocation order of the Election Commission of India. SDPI also urges the ECI that the full honour and job security may in all respect be ensured for the politically- victimised officer to keep the morale of other officials high also on intricate election duty.
