Return of Expats To Homeland Will Not Be Allowed To Be Blocked Using Power – MK FaizyNo governments will be allowed to block the return of the expats who are living in grief fearing the Covid19 spread, to their homeland, stated MK Faizy, national president of Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI). Nobody will be let to delay their journey using chicaneries; and SDPI is ready to go any extent to accomplish this. He was inaugurating the Hunger Strike of SDPI Kerala leaders in front of the Secretariat in Thiruvananthapuram demanding to end the expat-ruse of the central and state governments. Governments should effectively intervene to bring back home all expats wishing to come back immediately. Schedule for the return journey should be prepared at once. He further demanded to withdraw the excess flight fare being collected, the government to take over the kin of the expats dying of Covid abroad, to provide adequate financial aid and to ensure food and medical treatment to those stranded abroad. The central government have no plans to protect the common people even during the disastrous pandemic period. They are on with their corporate servitude. Strategic zones are being sold one by one to private monopolies. Effort of BJP government, even during calamitous period, is to advance with racism and implement communal agenda. Besides, the central and state governments are competing in betraying the expats. While the central government loot the expats by hiking the travel-fare, the state government is proving that they too are with them by imposing quarantine costs, blamed Faizy. The programme was organized in accordance with the Covid 19 protocols. Police arrested the leaders in the afternoon.
