The National Working Committee meeting of Social Democratic Party of India was held on 6 & 7 July 2026 at Mysore presided by National President M.K Faizy. The meeting discussed current political situation in the country, upcoming elections, party programs and activities. The resolution passed in the meeting is furnished below.

Resolution No. 2

The National Working Committee of the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) expresses its deep concern over the irregularities and question paper leak in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) examination. The incident represents a serious failure in safeguarding the integrity and credibility of one of the country’s most important competitive examinations.

The controversy surrounding the examination caused immense anxiety and distress among lakhs of students and their families. Reports of student suicides and severe psychological trauma in the wake of the NEET crisis have further underscored the gravity of the situation.

The National Working Committee holds the Union Minister of Education politically and morally responsible for this failure and demands his immediate resignation.
