Murders of minorities and backward classes by the state seem to have attained a sort of legality in the country. It is the Maharashtra CM Fadnavis now in the role of defending the police and twisting the facts in the custody death of 35-year-old law student Somnath Vyankat Suryavanshi. Suryavanshi was nabbed by the police for their alleged role in the ruckus following the desecration of a replica of the constitution installed in Parbhani town. The police are accused of entering Dalit Bahujan settlements across Parbhani, indiscriminately beating people, destroying their private property, and arresting them in connection with one of the eight FIRs lodged in the Parbhani violence. Rights activists and non-Sangh Parivar lot of the country ought to come forward to oppose the indiscriminate killing of innocent people by the state involved in protests against injustice and racist attacks in the country.
