Social Democratic Party of India held a mammoth rally at the National Capital on 22 Oct 2015 in wake of the recent grievous assault and burning alive of two innocent kids in Faridabad Haryana. And subsequently, the party organized a country-wide protest demonstrations on 26 Oct 2015 against the increasing discriminatory oppression and hostile aggression of the fringe elements on dalits and minorities.
A Sayeed, National President Social Democratic Party of India, today visited and met the members of the Dalit family of the devoid children set ablaze in a village Sonped in the Ballabhgarh area of Haryana. The injured father of the dead children Jitendra Kumar and other relatives narrated the ordeal, revealing that the atrocious attack was utterly premeditated in revenge of an earlier incident. The police not only failed to provide adequate security to the family in spite of the picket with a PCR deployed at the house. And also that the administration forced the funeral at the end of the night which was against their customs. The pain and anguish is simmering among the Dalits who are feeling very insecure. The family thanked SDPI for holding protest demonstrations nationwide demanding stringent action against the perpetrators of the hatred violence.
The president assured the family to stand with it in all respect and if the need arises to provide them any legal help. A Sayeed expressed grief over the unfortunate incident and criticized the irresponsible statement made by the Haryana Chief Minister Khattar in the midst of the investigation on the basis of surmises and conjectures. A Sayeed said it is pertinent to explore a permanent solution against spreading of hatred violence by the saffron brigade in the country.
