IMPOSING NSA IS THE NEFARIOUS DESIGN OF THE POLICE AND BJP GOVT. IN MP.

New Delhi, 29th July 2022: Social Democratic Party of India condemns the nefarious intention of Madhya Pradesh BJP Govt. imposing NSA Act on Samiulla Khan who won recently held Urban Local Body election in Ward No: 12 of Shajapur City. SDPI National Secretary Abdul Sathar said, the BJP Government is misusing the Police and Act to instil fear in the minds of SDPI cadres and to detract them from mainstream politics. This is absolutely anti-constitution and against the basic ethics of governance.

The Shajapur District Administration has imposed NSA on the SDPI Councillor for fictitious reason on the behest of VHP members. They alleged that anti-national slogans were called in the victory celebration during the day of announcement of results of City Municipal Council election. This allegation was made after 5 days of the event. The video footages of the event have no witness of such happenings.

However, the police claim that the VHP members produced a video clip alleging anti-national slogans which is deliberately concocted by them. Surprisingly, the police acted to the tunes of conspirators without sending the video clip to the forensic lab to check the reliability and genuity of the same. Abdul Sathar said, the police have registered FIR on newly elected Councillor for convening victory rally without police permission.

He said, this is ridiculous as the councillor or his followers didn’t convene the rally. The supporters and the voters gathered at the vicinity to congratulate the winning candidate on the day of announcement of the result. The fans of many newly elected councillors have gathered in the same manner to celebrate the winning, but there is no FIR filed on them. This shows that the Police and the BJP government are hand in gloves in conspiring to oppress a section of people through filing cases and imposing NSA. Abdul Sathar said, SDPI will fight constitutionally and legally against this malicious intent and discriminating policies.
