
SDPI Prepares for Strong Electoral Presence in Uttar Pradesh
The Social Democratic Party of India has announced plans to mount a serious electoral challenge in Uttar Pradesh, including the upcoming Assembly elections, along with Zila Panchayat, Municipal Corporation and Lok Sabha polls. The decision was taken at the party’s Leaders’ Meet and State Working Committee (SWC) meeting held in Kithore, Meerut, where leaders discussed the electoral roadmap, campaign strategy and organisational expansion across the state.
The meeting was presided over by SDPI Uttar Pradesh President Nizamuddin Khan and addressed by national leaders including Vice President Mohd. Shafi, General Secretary Riyaz Farangepet, Treasurer and UP State In-charge Abdul Sattar, and National Secretariat member Rasheed Umari. State Working Committee members, district office-bearers and senior leaders from across Uttar Pradesh participated and resolved to intensify grassroots activities ahead of the elections.
