While campaigns and propaganda against Waqf properties are being carried out by the parties with vested interests, the union government has released the facts as to who are the encroachers. As per the data shared by Union Minister of Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju in the Lok Sabha, there are 58,929 Waqf properties facing encroachments and of these, 869 are in Karnataka. All the hue and cry regarding the Waqf lands are to cover this encroachment. In the context of this disclosure, the hate campaigners should end their hatred promotion.
