The announcement of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad (ABAP) that non-Hindus will not be allowed to open shops during the upcoming Maha Kumbh Mela is extremely communal and detrimental to the secular nature of the country. The authorities should nip in the bud such divisive communal moves to ensure peace and harmony.
