Bangalore: Bahujana Samaja Party, Social Democratic Party of India, Raitha Sangha & Dalith Sangharsha Samithi demanded CBI enquiry into the murder of Mr.Shamsul Huda at a joint press conference held in Bangalore Recently.
The press conference was attended by Abdul Majeed Kodlipete, state president SDPI, Karnataka, Marasandra Muniappa, state president of BSP, Kodilhalli Chandrashekhar, state president of Raitha Sangha, Mohan Raj, state convener of Dalith Sangarsha Samithi.
The said that a leader of Muslim community leader and the journalist, who was fighting for the humanity cause, Mr. Samshul Huda was murdered on 3rd July 2013 around 7.30-8.00 am at his office in Tannary Road, Bangalore. Moreover the murderers had also looted a of huge amount money.
They said he had concern about under privileged sections in the society and was working for their welfare since last 40 years. He had also established a credit co-operative society for the benefit of common people. He was educating public about oppressions and injustice going against poor, through his own news paper.
They said he was also leading the people affected by the great humbug of crores of rupees in Amanath Co-operative Bank and that is highly suspected to be a cause for his cold blooded murder. The incident has declined moral courage of journalists and social activists to work against injustice. Thus the government should handover the case to CBI in order to provide justice for Samshul Huda’s family and social workers.
