The deteriorating condition in the middle east is of high concern and the world leaders should intervene effectively to end the escalating war situation in the area. Gaza has been under Israeli blockade for the past 16 years, and the Palestinians have been fighting to live peacefully in their homeland which has been invaded by the Zionists with the help of colonial forces for nearly eight decades.
According to Hamas leader Mohammed Deif, the latest assault on Israel, which the Israeli prime minister Netanyahu has declared as war, was in response to the 16-year blockade of Gaza, Israeli raids inside West Bank cities over the past year and violence at Al Aqsa and increasing attacks by settlers on Palestinians and the growth of settlements.
The Palestinians are fighting to free their motherland from invasion of the Zionists, and terming them as extremists and terrorists is highly offensive and insulting. The world leaders, instead of using derogatory terms about the fighters and ignoring their rights, should take initiatives to deter the Zionists from unlawfully invading the Palestine land.
Peace in the middle east will remain a reverie, and loss of valuable human lives will continue unless the unlawful occupation of the motherland of Palestinians is stopped by the Zionists.
