Resolution 1:

India needs to build a Broad-Based Secular Alliance to defeat divisive political forces

India today faces a serious threat to its democratic foundations from divisive and communally polarizing political forces. These forces have systematically misused government agencies to manipulate electoral outcomes in their favour, while their communal agenda has gravely undermined the social harmony and integrity of the nation.
It is therefore resolved that all secular and democratic parties must urgently unite under a broad-based political alliance. This alliance shall rise above regional differences and prioritize an inclusive political struggle to defend and restore the democratic values enshrined in our Constitution.
