The Social Democratic Party of India expresses deep sorrow over the martyrdom of Ayetollah Ali Khamenei, following the arrogant attacks carried out by the US–Israel axis against the sovereign nation of Iran. This act of unprovoked aggression has taken the life of a revered spiritual leader and brought immense suffering to the Iranian people, including the destruction of civilian infrastructure and the loss of innocent lives.

These arrogant attacks violate international law, endanger regional peace, and mark a dangerous escalation. We call for an immediate end to hostilities, accountability for those responsible, and urgent global action to uphold justice and defend Iran’s sovereignty.
