SDPI demands strict action against Bhilwara mob lynching culprits; arrest of all remaining accused

Ashfaq Hussain, State President of Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), Rajasthan, issued a press note condemning the brutal murder of cattle trader Sheru in Lambiya Rayla, Bhilwara, by so-called cow vigilantes. He stated that although several attackers were involved in this planned assault, only five persons have been arrested, and shockingly, even the charge of mob lynching has not been included in the case. This clearly indicates that the district administration, under political pressure, is attempting to shield several culprits and their organizations.

SDPI demands from the state government that justice must be ensured for the deceased. All those involved in this premeditated crime—who under the guise of cow protection are spreading terror, engaging in loot, extortion, and committing horrific mob lynchings—must be arrested and punished under stringent legal provisions. Furthermore, organizations associated with such acts should also be banned and strict legal action initiated against them so that such incidents are not repeated. The family of the deceased, Sheru, must also be granted adequate compensation.
