The National Secretariat of the Social Democratic Party of India convened on February 6 and 7 at the Central Office in Delhi and passed the following resolution:
Undermining Parliamentary Rights Is a Dangerous Sign of Dictatorship
Undermining parliamentary rights is a dangerous hallmark of authoritarian rule. The refusal to allow the Leader of the Opposition to speak in the Lok Sabha clearly demonstrates that the Union regime is resorting to dictatorial practices. When the Leader of the Opposition attempted to speak in the Lok Sabha, he was prevented from doing so, particularly when he sought to quote from the memoir of former Army Chief General M. M. Naravane.
