DS Bindra Calls for Decisive Action Against Elements Disturbing Peace in Delhi

Adv. Sardar DS Bindra, National Secretary of the Social Democratic Party of India, has expressed serious concern over the rising tensions in Uttam Nagar, Delhi, and called for immediate and impartial action to safeguard peace and communal harmony.

He said it is deeply unfortunate that Uttam Nagar is witnessing a rise in hatred and vengeful sentiments, creating a dangerous divide within society. The silence of both the Union and Delhi state authorities on this serious issue is troubling, as it risks emboldening communal elements and fostering a sense of impunity.

Bindra noted that certain fringe groups have deliberately turned an untoward incident during a holy celebration into a communal flashpoint, spreading fear, insecurity, and animosity among communities. He emphasized that the incident reportedly stemmed from a personal dispute between two families in Uttam Nagar, and not from any communal cause.

He further warned that some elements are openly delivering hate speeches, inciting violence, and calling for bloodshed without fear of accountability. Such actions, he said, are extremely dangerous and risk pushing society toward deeper division and unrest.

DS Bindra called upon people of all communities to come together to uphold social harmony, mutual respect, and brotherhood. He urged the authorities to act firmly and impartially against those attempting to disrupt peace and unity. Law enforcement agencies, he stressed, must act decisively, fairly, and without bias to maintain law and order.
