At the All-Party Meeting convened by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, Muhammed Mubarak Nellai, State President of the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), raised a strong voice of resistance against the Special Intensive Revision
(SIR) declared by the Election Commission of India across the country.
Mubarak warned that the SIR is not a routine administrative step, it is a politically motivated move designed to conceal the Modi administration’s grim agenda.
He asserted that the real intention behind the SIR is to pave the way for implementing the CAA and NRC, laws that threaten the very essence of equality and citizenship in India.
“Opposing the SIR means opposing the NRC and CAA,” he said, urging all democratic forces to stand united in defense of constitutional values.
He further emphasized that the awareness and resistance from Tamil Nadu will guide the people of India toward the right path, proving once again that Tamil Nadu’s voice of justice can lead the nation.
