In his inaugural address, SDPI West Bengal State President Hakikul Islam spoke in detail about the prevailing political and social situation in the state and the country. He further said, “Chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’ inside the court, transferring IPS officer Busra Banu, and deleting the names of 13 crore voters through SIR—these are all part of the project to establish a Hindu Rashtra. We have launched a movement to defeat this agenda. Just as we fought against the British and sacrificed our lives to protect the country, we will fight against them and protect the country. On this path of struggle, every woman must become a Neha Bora.”
