The Social Democratic Party of India strongly condemns the brutal lathi charge on peaceful protesters at Jantar Mantar and the Union government’s repressive response to youth demanding justice, education reforms and employment. Instead of addressing their genuine concerns, the government has chosen intimidation and force, undermining democratic values and the constitutional right to peaceful protest. We demand an impartial inquiry into the police action and immediate accountability for those responsible.
