National Secretariat meeting of the party, held on 15 May 2026, passed the following resolution.
Resolution 3:
Ensure a Free and Transparent Election System in the country
Free and fair elections are the cornerstone of democracy. However, the credibility of India’s electoral process, including the Election Commission of India, has come under serious and widespread public scrutiny. It is therefore resolved that urgent measures must be taken to restore the integrity of the election system. Specific concerns that demand immediate attention include: The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process, repeatedly conducted before elections, has resulted in the exclusion of genuine voters, disproportionately affecting supporters of non-BJP parties. Irregularities and lack of transparency in polling statistics and the vote counting process. Arbitrary deletion of voters from electoral rolls in West Bengal and Assam. The Election Commission’s consistent failure to act against hate speech during election campaigns.
This alliance calls for structural reforms to guarantee the independence of the Election Commission and the transparency of every stage of the electoral process.
