SDPI Condemns NEET UG 2026 Scandal, Demands Strict Action
The Social Democratic Party of India strongly condemns the cancellation of the NEET UG 2026 examination following revelations of a massive paper leak and organised cheating network, and demands strict action against all those responsible along with comprehensive reforms in the national examination system. The exposure of leaked “guess papers” and the involvement of exam mafias have once again exposed the complete failure of the National Testing Agency and the Union government in protecting the integrity of national examinations. More than twenty two lakh students appeared for the examination after years of hard work, financial struggle and emotional sacrifice, only to be pushed into uncertainty, anxiety and frustration.
The repeated occurrence of paper leaks and irregularities in national level examinations reflects a dangerous collapse of accountability within the country’s educational system. Reports emerging from Rajasthan and other states regarding solver gangs and the commercial sale of leaked question papers prove that organised corruption has deeply penetrated the examination mechanism. The government cannot evade responsibility by merely announcing investigations after public outrage. Those responsible at every level must be identified and punished without delay.
SDPI demands a transparent and time bound investigation, strict action against all individuals involved in the leak network and urgent reforms to restore credibility in the examination system. The future of millions of students cannot be destroyed by corruption, negligence and administrative incompetence. The Social Democratic Party of India stands firmly with students and parents in their demand for justice, transparency and accountability.
