The National Secretariat of the Social Democratic Party of India convened on February 6 and 7 at the Central Office in Delhi and passed the following resolution:
Nation Seeks Clarity on Alleged References to Indian Political Figures in Epstein Files
The Epstein files, which have exposed a global network of sexual exploitation and abuse, represent a grave moral and humanitarian crisis that has shocked the conscience of the world. The revelations point to the misuse of power, coercion, and exploitation of minors, raising serious questions about accountability at the highest levels.
Recent reports and disclosures suggesting the appearance of names of Indian political figures, including references linked to high constitutional offices, in connection with the Epstein files are a matter of serious national concern. While mere mention does not establish guilt, the absence of clarity and transparency on such a sensitive issue is deeply troubling.
This National Secretariat meeting of SDPI resolves that, in the interest of truth, transparency, and the dignity of the nation, the Supreme Court of India should initiate or oversee an independent investigation to ascertain the facts and, if any involvement is found, to ensure accountability strictly in accordance with law.
