Tiruvananthapuram:

SDPI National Vice President Professor Nazneen Begum said that the media has always been closer with the upper cast & the government interests, ignoring the basic problems of the oppressed, the backward classes and the society at large.

She expressed the words while releasing the political monthly magazine ’Voice of India’, published by SDPI Kerala. The important role that the ‘Voice of India’ will be playing is strengthening the poor, downtrodden & backward classes.

Prominent scholars and intellectuals expressed their gratitude over the release of a magazine intended to bring a transformation into the society. The guests congratulated the SDPI Kerala Unit on releasing their Party’s mouthpiece and wished that the ‘Voice of India’ too would revolutionize the true significance of journalism alike SDPI, a revolution in Indian Politics.

Chairman of VSDP (a Kerala based NGO), Vishnupuram Chandra Shekharan received the magazine. SDPI State President Advocate K.M Ashraf presided over the function, Pathiyan Maha Sabha President Advocate P.K Sukumaran, Latin Catholic Aikya Vedike representative R. Francis, V.M Fahad-President Campus Front of India, A.A Zulfiqar State Gen. Secretary of Social Democratic Trade Union, sdpi State VP Thulaseedharan Pallikkal, sdpi State VP Ashraf Moulvi, State Gen Secretary M.K. Manoj Kumar, P Abdul Hameed, Sam Kutty Jacob-Printer and Publisher of the magazine participated in the event. Editor Incharge Nasruddin Elamaram presented the magazine.
