JAIPUR/RAJASTHAN:
SDPI held District Wise Conferences across the State. The Party leaders called up on Dalits, Backward Classes and Muslims to unite in order to have our equal share in power. The minorities, dalits and OBCs have been targetted sysmatically and were made to suffer even after independence. It is said while addressing the gathering in a District Conference by National Vice President Hafiz Manzoor Ali Khan organized state-wide by the Party. He said, even though these oppressed communities form a major count in population but unfortunately are being ruled over some among those of upper-cast. Now we have taken up on our shoulders, the responsibility of making the people aware of the equal share in power, proportionate to their percentage. Surely there will be a rise in the issues, only if we dont start addressing them right now.
Yasmin Farooqui, the National Confener of SDPI’s Women’s Wing said, the independence was a result of collective struggle fought by patriots belonging to all the religions, but our country is being ruled only by people belonging to a specific group.
Radha Kishan Meena, a Dalit leader said that our nation is ruled by ‘Manu Vaadis’, wherein dalits, minorities, adivasis can only lead lives as second grade citizens. She said, we have to ponder upon how come only the upper-classes got 8 out of 17 seats of Hadowti Vidhan Sabha.
The conference was attended by Party’s many state and national leaders and a huge count of cadres. Those among the organizers of the program were Hafiz Mohammed Hanif, Rizwan Khan Mohammed Ashfaq, Rizwan Chaldadha, Mehrunnisa, Haji Nisar Ahmed, Haji Abdul Salaam, District President Sadiq Shareef, Badrilal Regar, Mahaveer Byrwa, Hemaraj Meghwal and others.
