Lilong: Social Democratic Party of India-SDPI Manipur organized a massive protest demonstration at Lilong Bazar participated by over 200 party cadres and members. The protesters demanded that the government interfere in the subject and put across the diplomatic pressure in a humble attempt to end the ethnic cleansing of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar for a number of years. They have submitted a memorandum with the Governor, Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister. An effigy of Budhist terrorist Ashin Wirathu was burnt in the market and the UN was urged to book and prosecute the mastermind in the international court of law.
