Summing up meeting, Ms. Sucharita of Lok Raj Sangathan said that demolition of Babri Masjid 25 years ago was a turning point in Indian politics. It was the time that the rulers of India decided to escalete the use state terrorism and state organised communal violence to push through their anti-people, anti-social and anti-national agenda. Secondly, it clearly showed that the political power is actually wielded by the monopoly houses and the ruling and opposition parties in Parliament implement the agenda set by these monopolies. The elected representative are not accountable to the people but are accountable only the high commands of their party. The criminalisation and communalisation of politics can only be ended if people have the political power. Only when the people have political power will the guilty of communal massacres and other crimes against the people will be punished. We have to further strengthen our unity to build a just society where everyone’s rights are defended.
