Especially there are schemes to uplift and empower the women of the minority community. Most of the schemes are for the deserving and genuine needy people, but we have noticed that, instead of these needy people, all these schemes and its benefits are been given to the people who are close to the Political leaders or people who can bribe the KMDC officials through agents.

Khurshid Begum came on heavily at the KMDC officials for the corrupt racket and said, at present we have approx 500 women’s who have applied in various schemes from 2013 to 2015 in KMDC such as Shramashakti, Strishakti, etc. but till date none of the deserving and needy women have got any loans or benefits. The genuine applications are being kept aside and the benefit was given to those with influence or those who bribe officials via agents, said Khurshid.

SDPI State Committee Member Shaheed Nasir slammed the State Government for not taking notice of the rampant instances of malpractices and irregularity and discrepancy in sanctioning these loans for the year 2014-16. Nasir said, many memorandums, requests, protest and dharna’s from various NGO’s & these needy people are been falling on deaf ears and the concerned higher officials of this department and the officers of the related Ministries are least bothered about these malpractices and irregularities.

We demand a thorough investigation in to the allotment of the schemes from 2013 to 2014 to bring out the real culprits behind this irregularities and malpractices and help out the needy people get the benefits within a period of 1 month or we’ll be compelled to launch a massive state-wide agitation infront of Vidhana Soudha in Bangalore, said Abdul Rahim Patel.
