Local Body Elections

Social Democratic Party of India-SDPI has done pretty good in the recent local body elections held in Karnataka.

ELECTORAL ACHIEVEMENT AND ACTIVITES OF PARTY

  1.  SDPI Contested in By-election of Channapattana our candidate was Mr. Zakariya we thought of getting 5000 votes but we did not get up to the mark just we got 785 votes.
  2.  SDPI had contested gram Panchayat by-election at Gogi of Yadgir in which we got 198 votes in        third position where JDs party candidate got 4th Position.
  3.  SDPI had contested 4 gram Panchayat by-election in Mangalore district where we got one victory and in 3 places we got good votes.
  4.  SDPI Mangalore district contested Pudu gram Panchayat election at Ullal we contested 23 seats in which could get only seat win and.
  5.  The urban local body election we have contested in 205 seats in corporation, CMC, TMC and TP as follows.
  6.  We have planned to contest 35 seats in coming General Assembly election which is scheduled in the month of April-May 2013.
