Social Democratic Party of India-SDPI organized a massive protest match at the UN Headquarters situated here at Lodhi Estates at 11AM to condemn the Israel’s unjust attacks on innocent civilians in Gaza, Palestine. The Party activists also met and submitted a memorandum with the UN officials at their headquarter.

Party vice president Hafiz Manzoor Ali Khan expressed his grave concern regarding the US support to the Israel in its aggression.

General Secretary Afsar Pasha said Israel has been practicing apartheid against Palestinians. Apartheid is a crime against humanity. Israel has deprived millions of Palestinians of their liberty and property. It has perpetuated a system of gross racial discrimination and inequality. It has systematically incarcerated and tortured thousands of Palestinians, contrary to the rules of international law. It has, in particular, waged a war against a civilian population, in particular children and women.

Delhi Pradesh President Advocate Aslam said, United Nations cannot remain silent and act simply at a stooge of powers that supply arms and ammunition to Israel to kill Palestinians. All justice and peace loving people globally are deeply pained and concerned by news reports of atrocities on Palestinninas. We have noted with horror and shock, the repressive activities of the Israeli Defence Forces. We do not understand why, the United Nations, chooses to remain a mute spectator in the targeting of defenceless civilians?

Party leaders submitting memorandum with the UN official

National Treasurer Advocate Sajid Siddiqui said we do hereby submit this memorandum in support of all people in Palestine whether Muslims or Christians or Jew call upon all people to live with dignity, love and peace and harmony.

Social Democratic Party of India condemns heinous war crimes and demands:
1) The war criminals of Israel should be tried for war crimes.
2) The Palestinians right of return and right to property should be recognized.

The protest march was lead by Party Vice President Hafiz Manzoor Ali Khan and those participated in the demonstrated were Party General Secretary Afsar Pasha , Treasurer Adv. Sajid Siddiqi, Secretary Rafiq Mulla, NWC Member Abdhu Shaafi and other leaders.

A large number of Party cadres and members also participated in the event.
