Delhi vibrates with slogan ‘Ek per Hamla, Sab per Hamla’; Unity demands justice for Babri Masjid

6 Dec 2016, New Delhi: Over 30 socio-political organizations, a number prominent activists and intellectuals from all walks of life, participated in a joint rally, belonging to different religious backgrounds, resounded the slogan ‘Ek per Hamla, Sab per Hamla’. The rally marched off from Mandi House and culminated at Jantar Mantar and turned into a massive public meeting. Heads of various organizations called for a united struggle against the State sponsored repression and collectively demanded that the culprits responsible for the demolition of Babri Masjid be punished, so the justice may prevail.

SDPI too has been a part of this joint forum agitating for justice for Babri Masjid for years. SDPI President A Sayeed, Vice President Adv. Sharfuddin Ahmad and General Secretary Mohammed Shafi participated in the rally and the public meet along with hundreds of party cadres.

Some of the organizations who jointly organized the rally were Lok Raj Sangathan, Social Democratic Party of India represented by its  President A Sayeed, Gadar Party of India, Jamaat e Islami Hind, Citizens for Democracy represented by renowned legal activist Adv. ND Pancholi, United Muslims Front represented by Adv. Shahid Ali, Jan Sangharsh Manch, All India Muslim Majlis e Mushawarat represented by AR Agwan, Welfare Party of India represented by its president SQR Ilyas, United Sikh Mission represented by Harminder Singh Ahluwalia, Association for Protection of Civil Rights, Bhagat Singh Ambedkar Organization, Popular Front of India, Purogami Mahila Sangathan, Hindi Naujawan Ekta Sabha and Students Islamic Organization (SIO).
