Social Democratic Party of India National President while addressing a huge gathering at Rajendra Stadium said the party will field 25 candidates in the upcoming Bihar Assembly Election. The public meet was organized at the stadium after taking out a massive rally which was started from Shram Kalyan Kendra Maidan and culminated at the Rajendra Stadium after crossing through the major circles of the city. The party president A Sayeed said that that party would be contesting in 25 constituencies including that of Katihar.
A number of decades passed, changes were seen in the regimes but there has been no end to the rampant corruption widespread in the country, the control of Corporate over the country’s economy is getting stronger day by day and officialdom of the state is plagued by anarchy, said A Sayeed. He further said that the women are unsafe, the farmers are not being paid their due prices, and the youth too are suffering from the severe employment, giving rise to their migration in search of jobs to different parts of the country, thereby most of them landing in troublesome situation. He said Social Democratic Party of India, which is not just a political party but rather a movement would continue to strive for the rights of the common people against the anti-people policies of the state and central governments.
Those who on the dias were National President All India Imams Council Moulana Usman Baig, SDPI National General Secretary Elyas Thumbe, Bihar State President Nasim Akhtar, Bihar State Secretary Archana Kumari and several prominent personalities from Katihar and Patna.
