SDPI celebrates its 8th Formation Day; Party President asks its Cadres to take up the task of taking out iron walls of hatred
Message from A Sayeed, SDPI National President on 8th Anniversary Day of Party Formation
New Delhi 21 June 2017: Days of peace are coming to an end. The world today speaks in the language of the confrontation. Imperialism is never ready to change its character. When the formation consisting of masters and their retainers is preparing for shameful domination and free disposal in the world, nobody is coming forward to raise even a word on the part of humanity. The silence of man in front of terror shows a sign of a great emptiness.
Our country, in the haste to take over the war of the warlords, is not giving a healthy message to its people. India’s voice, which stood up for peace in the past, has now been changed. India has become one of the most important grounds in the world, where the worldwide program of imperialist-capitalist forces to form neo-fascist states at their disposal has succeeded.
Dirty trends have raised head in the country. Some kind of spiritual elements are fired on the streets, mocking the rule of law. Government is in a mood of support for these hooligans. They are paid from government exchequer and they entertain immunity from criminal procedure laws of the country. India is now witnessing incidents which should never happen in a democracy. Verdicts from some of the courts of law make out the ugly face of the country. Most shocking is that the political parties in the country have become so impotent and vacuous that they are unable to display any sign of secular and democratic willpower.
There is no doubt that India has got ample resources who are capable to work as the foundation of our democracy. The time demands that they shall be brought out and deployed in the forefront of struggle for people’s rights. Indian democracy was never free from hero worship and money power. We have to take up the task of building up a democratic mission without the support of scepters and crowns. Communal forces have worked nearly one hundred years to build up walls of hatred among the people of India. If mind and body work together we will easily do away with these iron walls.
On this eighth anniversary day of party formation, I would like to ask SDPI workers to come forward and take up this inevitable task.
